Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Organization:
- Plan and manage the division according to agreed country development strategies.
- Manage the divisional P&L within allocated budget
- Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and values in all areas of operational activity
- Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and optimization of quality of service
Business Development / Sales and Marketing:
- Provide guidance to team in Key account management ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction is consistently achieved
- Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns, leads generation and management activities
- Participant in Sales visits to key customers to build customer relationship and be their preferred vendor
Technical Advisory and Product Advocate:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on product & technical information to team and potential/existing customers
- Provide necessary support in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Communicate regulatory compliance requirement and applications effectively, demonstrating company’s market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields
- Provide required support in interaction with customers’ engineering teams to effectively illustrate company’s value proposition
- Provide support and guidance to the team at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc
- Lead and take charge of negotiations where necessary to ensure a win-win agreement with customers
Service Standards and Customer Relationship Management:
- Work with sales team to prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions, meeting regulatory compliance standards and productivity improvements
- Monitor maintenance of records of customer communication and sales activity in the CRM system
People Development and Management:
- Take charge of recruitment and ensure effective induction for new team members, monitoring ongoing performance needs
- Manage performance and development of team to maximize sales performance of division
- Encourage Sales Managers/Team Leaders to continuously develop knowledge of local market conditions to identify trends and make appropriate/innovative recommendations to improve and enhance product performance and drive the business forward

- Effective management of the divisions P&L within allocated budget ensuring a profitable performance for the division
- An engaged team striving to meet the department’s key performance targets, sales targets and agreed key performance indicators.
- Effective management of the performance and development of employees to drive and maximize the sales performance of the division
- Development of an effective network of communication across the business area ensuring shared knowledge and understanding of business activities
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in any discipline preferably in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry Environmental Science or related field
English: Verbal/Written Communication
Computer skills: Ms. Office
Experience: Minimum 5 years working experience in a Technical sales environment with extensive supervision experience
