Improve the quality and overall customer satisfaction of Home Depot private branded products including returns to store reduction, damage or damage markdown reduction, improving online reviews and ratings, and reduce customer care complaints. Develop and manage customer-focused, data-driven, risk-based process controls in one of the engineering disciplines supporting manufacturing excellence: product (electrical, mechanical, material science), manufacturing, packaging, or industrial. Manage processes to ensure supplier and factory compliance with relevant requirements from Standard Operating Procedures, contracts, supplier buying agreements, and purchase orders. Enforce continuous improvement, corrective action, and preventive action plan implementation throughout each process. Manage business area and engineering discipline to the metrics and reporting developed to monitor quality, service, cost, and risk components of each process. Develop, coach, and train associates to deliver results consistent with strategy.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical fields of studies such as chemistry or material science
  • International operations experience, supported by foreign language skills (oral and written)
  • Operational experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience with engineering standards development, review, and enforcement
