Define, propose, and monitor the plans and objectives of the electrical and automation team in accordance with Engineering Policy, Key Principles, and the Electricity & Automation – Manufacturing Execution System (E&A – MES) activity as outlined in the company’s engineering guidelines.
Facilitate the introduction and implementation of new technologies in coordination with local, market, central technical teams, and engineering centers.
Propose and control the Electrical/Automation and MES component of the site M&I budget and any capital projects.
Ensure safe and secure operation of spray dry installation and other equipment related to dust explosion prevention.
Execute the maintenance of electrical/automation equipment and instruments in line with the company’s maintenance strategy using Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM) as a multi-disciplined approach to proactively maintain and improve fixed assets, along with Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) processes to manage the asset lifecycle.
Ensure proper management of electrical/automation documents (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheets, software packages/licenses) through efficient filing and archiving procedures.
Ensure that the technical competence and behavioral standards of the team meet the requirements necessary to achieve its mission and objectives.
Initiate and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) in automation and electricity supply/distribution, coordinating with Production, Quality Management, and Engineering teams to resolve any electrical or automation issues.
Ensure that all automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems comply with both internal company standards and legal requirements.
Ensure confidentiality of all process-related controls and documentation.
Job Requirement
Education background: graduated Bachelor degree in Electrical & Automation or related major;
English: intermediate level;
Computer Skills: superior skill is highly recommended, PLC programming;
At least 3 years of experiences in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as an M&I or E&A/MES Engineer, or other similar positions);
Personnel Supervisory experience (with Technical teams, Mechanical and Electrical (Contractors, Suppliers or other 3rd parties)
